Each term we will discuss topical, political and global debates through weekly meetings. This will include workshops to help the students construct persuasive arguments and to improve their debating skills as part of a team. Meetings to be held at lunch time in BG2. Monday

Open to students of all ages and abilities as a fun way to develop their oracy skills and we hope to hold show debates throughout the year!

Beyond the Humanities Classroom

Come explore the world, both past and present, outside of the Humanities classroom. We’ll be exploring the world through time, looking at inspirational people, controversial topics and fantastic places.

LGBTQ+ & Allies Support Group

This group is for any students wanting to know more about LGBTQ+ issues or even understand how to become a better ally. It’s a safe space for anyone wanting to contribute to a more diverse and inclusive school environment

Arcadia

Arcadia, meaning a place offering peace and simplicity, is a club set up to combat mental health issues. Fortnightly, students meet to relax in a stress-free environment. Students can detox from any worries inside or outside of school. Promoted by our student wellbeing ambassadors, the club aims to create a positive atmosphere for students inside of school.
